The Krugersdorp Council for the Care of the Aged was established in 1968 by the late Mr. Robert Palk, a well known businessman in Krugersdorp. Today, the KCCA is a fully registered Non Government Organisation (NGO), NPO No. 002-031, providing services to the elderly who live in the Krugersdorp area.

The KCCA Centre is situated in Burger Street, Krugersdorp. We seek to provide an environment in which the elderly may enjoy a social life outside of the confines of their retirement rooms and homes. It is an unfortunate fact that the aged are largely forgotten and sometimes neglected by society.

To improve the quality of life and dignity of elderly people.

To provide supportive services that will cater for the basic needs of the elderly in respect of nutrition, healthcare, as well as social, spiritual and intellectual.
